Next couple of days in Krabi were interesting! Spent the day after I arrived in Ao Nang with Richard- he convinced me I should try a Thai massage....

I was dubious, but he had raved about it the night before so much I thought I should at least give it a try.
Oh, and sorry to disappoint anyone, but when I say Thai massage, it ain't the dirty way- alright!!! This was perfectly above board, I promise. The whole experience is very relaxing, they literally massage you from head to toe and it's wonderful!!! Anyone who goes to Thailand and doesn't have one (by a serious massage expert- not a ladyboy) will certainly regret it. Unless ladyboys are your thing- in which case, go for it!!!!
But me and Richard came out looking like we had a few rounds with Mike Tyson and had to stumble off for lunch. By the way, wine and massage do not mix, feels like you have taken tranquilisers! I finally got hold of Jerome, and he actually made it without any hitches. We had a similar night to before chilling on the beach with cocktails- typically, we didn't decide to get rat-arsed until the night after (when we had to go to Phi Phi the next day...)
We eneded up in a bar called the KR Bar- to anyone who goes to Ao Nang you MUST go, the staff are lovely and we had a really great time. It has a free pool table aswell which can't be bad! Come 6pm we realised that we didn't want to leave to get the 'last' boat so we managed to talk a guy into getting his friend to take us, the latest we could get it was 11.30 and it would cost 500B for the pleasure. But hey! In the end it was worth it, we had a merry old time and even managed to get the boat and not end up stranded. We did, however, make the error of staying up drinking on the beach till 2am- just what you need when you have to leave at 8.30.... Although I do think I'm getting quite used to it now!
