Oh my god!!!! Was feeling a little bit worse for wear yesterday after Jerome called two seconds before I got in the taxi! Met him at Tropical Murpheys in Chaweng beach- his fav hangout apparently...

And ended up getting a grand tour of the green mango and surrounding bars!!! Needless to say I was feeling like absolute shite- so much so that I even forgot to check out of the hotel...ooops! Then had something like a seven hour journey to Krabi. Was not pleasant. Met a really nice girl from London called Debbie, she was a sweetheart- shame we were going different ways- and a nice Thai girl from Samui and they managed to make it more bearable!
Despite Debbie going to Penang she was still on the same coach as me- it was all very confusing on and off coaches every ten minutes. At one point they got me off my coach, put me in a minibus, dropped me off somewhere else- just to get back on the same coach??? Thai logic hey...
On arrival in Krabi, I was not actually told where I was, I assumed we were going to get on another coach but as people filtered off I realised I was there- just not in the town centre. I had to get a guy to take me to my transfer pick up...nightmare. Only to get to the other end and realise that my bungalow is virtually on its own Island- you can imagine my face when they put me on a boat!!!
The resort itself, 'the andaman inn' was nice, but not too advanced. No electric before 6pm, last boat from mainland at 7, no internet or civilisation for that matter!!! Presented a bit of a problem as Jerome was supposed to come and meet me there. I doubted he's find it with directions let alone without them!!!!
It was so secluded that you couldn't complain- totally peaceful and very beautiful. I met a cool guy called Richard and we basically sat up all night on a secluded beach drinking cocktails- and even got a fire show from a guy working there! Paradise! So after a tiring horrible day, it was a great ending.
