Another prospective subber just came here, a guy from Italy. Please, if you're going to sublet ever, don't do the following:

A friend of his gave him my number for possible sublets. He barely speaks English, OK, so I told him well in advance that I live a 10-15 minute walk from the train so if this is a problem please DON'T respond and DON'T waste my time....so not only was he two and a half hours late but he starts telling me the rent is too high and he needs a roommate and......what else? Didn't he know this in advance? I mean, it's stressful on our end too, and now I've been on both sides. I wish I were just subleasing again in someone's place......no cats.....just free to leave. WHat a mistake it was to listen to other people who told me I need to get situated.....OK enough for now. Live and learn.
