David Derrick

My passion for travel awoke on my first overseas trip to Europe and Morocco when I was eight. I discovered there is so much to see, so many people to meet and so many ways of living. I flew to Japan and revisited Europe alone before my 18th birthday. In college I majored in Geography, but it was my six month around-the-world trip after graduation that cemented international travel as an unconditional requirement to my life. Since then my career has been spent trying to help others experience the same. With nearly 20 years in the travel business, I've become an expert in the air travel domain especially complex multi-stop long-haul journeys with roles in sales, rate desk, product and project management. I continue to work with airlines, vendors, marketers and developers to make this kind of travel appealing and affordable to as many people as possible.
