Recently that has been Sudan, far western part of Egypt, Lake Nasser, northern Uganda, and northern Cameroon. On our RTW we'd like to visit Iran, the '5 stans', Mongolia, Bolivia, Algeria, Mauritania, Morocco, Bhutan.
