Sherry Ott : Round the World Travelers - BootsnAll

Sherry Ott

I'm Sherry, a corporate cube dweller turned nomadic traveler and career break guru. I left on a career break/world journey in 2006, and it hasn't ended yet. I've been around the world 2 times - but have been on the road constantly. While on my initial career break I traveled around the world to over 23 countries primarily solo armed with my camera. Since my career break I spent a year living and working in Vietnam, hiked the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, traveled the globe house-sitting, participated in cultural exchange programs in the Middle East, drove 10,000 miles from London to Mongolia in order to raise money for the Mongol Rally charity, created the Niece Project, and walked the across Spain on the Camino de Santiago. My latest adventures took me to my 7th continent, Antarctica, with my father. My goal is to continue to seek out adventurous unique opportunities to challenge myself and inspire people to overcome their fears and reap the benefits of travel. I turned my passion of travel into a new career in the travel industry. I just love to be in motion...as long as there is coffee every morning.
