hi guys,

so obviously this site was originally created for the trip to turkey, but the plot of life thickens and it turns out I'm not going.

Due to some health problems I've been having reccently I am not supposed to leave the country until mid-september, therefore, my trip to turkey is out, and my new red shiny backpack sits dejected in my room, giving me the evil eye. But what can I do? Doctors say I can't go, and I've reccently been to the hospital enough times in America that going to the hospital in Turkey just doesn't sound appealing... On the bright side, my mom is jumping for joy, so one girls tragedy is one womans happiness.

I was going to delete the entries about Turkey and etc, that I posted before hand, but I decided not to, it would be too sad, I'm already losing 300 bucks when i cancel the ticket, a trip to a country I've been dreaming about forever, and I just don't want to lose the excitement I had in writing before.

Not to worry though, I've set up another challenge for myself! This one's gonna happen! This year while in London, I will add atleast 17 more countries to my list. Probably over the course of LSE's winter break, or spring break, I will ride the train all over europe, hopefully sleep on it to save money and visit every rail-linked country.

I'm sure I will have plenty to write about just moving to london, and will keep everyone posted.
