Phi Phi is beautiful!!! I want to stay forever! Don't listen to the evil lonely planet guide- It appears that they are telling people not to go, but seriously as long as it's not peak season it's sooooo worth a visit.

Next couple of days in Krabi were interesting! Spent the day after I arrived in Ao Nang with Richard- he convinced me I should try a Thai massage....

Oh my god!!!! Was feeling a little bit worse for wear yesterday after Jerome called two seconds before I got in the taxi! Met him at Tropical Murpheys in Chaweng beach- his fav hangout apparently...

My first day alone!!! My brother flew back to bangkok and then home and I headed down to Samui where my mate Jerome is staying... somewhere!!!

What a day!! Today myself and a few others had a scary experience that we will not be repeating, white water rafting in Thailand!!! The whole thing was a total sham, and could easily have cost someone their life...

We are in our second day in Chiang mai and it is by far our favourite place yet. It has a good night lifeand we have been on an amazing trek today! There is plenty to do here and yet it is not as frantic as bangkok...

Well Mr Pong kept his promise and at 10.30am we got picked up at Mountain View (the bar owned by Malcolm from Yorkshire). And oddly, although the weather has been freakishly hot, according to locals, Mr Pong insisted on playing Christmas music in his van..

We had a good start to our trip in Sukhothai! We arrived a the main bus station at 3.15am, a little bleary eyed after a long seven hour journey. I had originally though that our guest house was opposite but no- it was 14km away! It appears that a a funny tuk tuk man had been sent out collect us (he looked a bit like Mr Miagi from Karate Kid but with a bobble hat on) But we were insistent that we would walk (given our bad experience with Tuk tuks...

It started badly- at about 6.30am, having had not much sleep- with a very chatty tour guide on a busy coach! He was a great guy, very interesting with lots to say- but at that time? Seriously!

Well, it is our last day in Bangkok, finally! It has been excellent shopping- we have picked up some bargains but will be glad to get away from the pollution and those damn Tuk Tuk's!...
