Dahab

Oh boy so much has been going on. I've made friends here and yeah, the people who approach me are mostly guys, except for some school girlswho came to me in Cairo.
I'm in Dahab now which is very expensive and touristy. Plus, the bus I took got stopped five or six times while the cops checked ID. Now at the Internet cafe an American guy is arguing with the cafe workers about a cd he burned.
It was a long bus ride plus I've been having an emotional and tumultuous time with some people I've met here, which I'll write about somewhere else. Cairo is so cool, seriously. All that stuff people tell you is BS. There is a tourist hussle but mostly people are great.
Dahab is really pretty but there's not much to do here. Plus, I'm lonely now cause I don't know one person here, although one guy with a British accent approached me, probably trying to sell me something, but maybe I can spend time with him, or else people at the hotel I'm at. This place I picked is.....I mean I was charged 50 Egyptian pounds which is about 8 US dollars, but the room was fucking filthy, plus coffee here is TWICE as much as in Cairo. Plus, the lady there didn't want me to even use the fridge to store some milk of mine, and in Cairo there was a communal kitchen and fridge in the hotel. I checked out what was in my lonely planet guide this Venus Hotel but it was crap.......uh uh. At least at this one, it's on the beach, I washed my clothes and hung them to dry, and there is HEAT thank God. I got bad sniffles from the bus which was mercilessly air conditioned and the desert is cold at night, when I came here.
To my Cairo friends, I love and miss you!
