my money is in short supply. I am looking forward to just chilling in my apartment again. I'll treat myself to a pedicure, a cigarette, glass of wine, and vegging out with a movie.

Basically, as a woman alone, I feel more and more frustrated, angry and alone. The people out there whom I find to be my friends well, fortunately there are a few. But I mean, some of these discussions, please, so tired: it's men's natural desire to roam and find different partners. That's why they harass women in the street. Oh, and Russian women wear high heels and cook for their man, and feminism has ruined American society from women who cook and smile when doors are held open. Once I dated a guy who I thought was pretty great, then he asked me to boil an egg for him and it was all over. I lit into him.
I read the reviews of the film "Alexander" and I am really bewildered. Seems like people's main beef is that he may have been gay. Why is this such an issue? If two men or women want to have sex, who cares? I mean, if you wonder why Camille Paglia and Andrew Sullivan make it big in this country, I guess when you hear stories of people throwing rocks at an 18 year old girl who identifies as bisexual and calling her "fucking dyke" it makes sense. Or people standing in a picket line with signs saying "Matthew Shepard burns in hell." I guess straight men see it as a threat to their power. More and more I wish I hadn't left Berlin, and I want to get out of America. Seems like a certain breed of people isn't going to leave.
Anyhow, I'm digressing. On another note: some music I am bringing with me to keep me through long plane and bus rides:
