Veteran RTW traveller, about to do it all again with the kids.
My then boyfriend and I did a RTW 11 years ago, Mosco, the Trans Sib, Mongolia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand,Bangladesh, Nepal ( Annapurna circuit, no guides or porters, you do not need them), India and finally Australia where we did a LOT of diving. We were originally travelling from the UK, now we live in Australia, on the Great Barrier Reef. We got engaged at Macchu Picchu, married in Sri Lanka and had 2 boys, they are 8 and 6. now and are already well travelled, UK, USA, Bali, Thailand, S Africa, more to come. Next year we are doing it again with the kids, no fixed plans, we will just get a cheap flight into Asia and see where we end up, no time schedule, this one is indefinite. The kids are already homeschooled, and that is just awesome, so don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t let taking the kids out of school scare you. I think it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s the best thing you could possibly do for your children\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s education.
